I loved how many speakers at @ContentbyDes #ContentByDesign introduced themselves with their pronouns. Inclusivity seems to be a natural trait of content designers. I *love* it.

Todays #ContentByDesign talks from @elainetall and @candiwrites were pure TONIC for every self-doubting, perfectionist solo content designer out there. Amazing tips on making an impact as a solo CD and working through those self-imposed high expectations! Where's that prosecco?

BUT:
- nothing is ever complete
- perfect does not exist
- 'better than before' is OK
- so much is beyond our control
- it's not all up to you
- you're amazing

Think of your content design portfolio as a content challenge in itself.
- structure as: problem, approach, role you played
- add the context
- show the messy middle
- prove you're a good collaborator, communicator and problem solver
