Learning transition shaders in Godot 🙂 Made an iris-out effect and fixed the stretched circle Used dFdx/dFdy to adjust UV scaling, and mix() to keep it centered Still wrapping my head around it, but it’s starting to click 👀 #gamedev #Godot #shader

Wow, I didn't even know about fwidth and dFdx/dFdy. Having access to normals gives so many more options to play with!

You can compute normals using derivatives: mini.gmshaders.com/p/gm-shad… nor = normalize(cross(dFdx(p), dFdy(p))); Derivatives are computed in 2x2 pixel chunks, so it's best to round the frag coordinates before raymarching. Try with and without round. Demo: twigl.app?ol=true&ss=-OkiIH5…

dFdX and dFdY scare my brain until I remember how parallel execution works

Easy anti-aliasing for anything: vec2 dxy = vec2(dFdx(d), dFdy(d)); float aa = smoothstep(-1.0, 1.0, d / max(length(dxy), 0.0001));

The controls feel super wierd, I expect moving the mouse to the right to make camera turn right and not the other way around 😄 Also noticed some more lighting artifacts, I guess this is still from dFdx normals?

WHAT HAS HE DONE?????? By the way, DragonFartDust is not done. We are just in hibernation until the evil arb bot from DX cannot hurt our users anymore. Stay tuned later in the year for further announcements!!! DFDX isn't sleeping, it is waiting.
The old PFP had a green colored ring around it for a while, then the American flag in the background. Today, however marks the first actual change of the PFP! The $BNKR community and @lilmfersnft community are wild, and they made me do this!! Note I still kept a dog in the pic lol. Cheers to the acquisition team and lead negotiator on the other side!! They all nailed the deal and earned their bonuses! Current proposal on the table is a filing with the SEC on Friday for ETF approval of "Moe's NFTs...LLC or whatever".

Better fwidth: sqrt(dFdx(v)*dFdx(v) dFdy(v)*dFdy(v))

Respectfully you inadvertently put yourself in a compromised situation with #DFDX, you for whatever reason supported it well aware it was contrary to $TITANX ethos. Instead of admitting it, you are now bad mouthing $TITANX negativity serves no one. You are better than this!

This method also works with screen derivatives: vec3 dx = dFdx(p); vec3 dy = dFdy(p); vec3 nor = normalize(cross(dx, dy)); p can be in world space, model space or view space and it will return the respective normals

What’s good my guy?! I think @VibraFinance posted some screen shots a few days ago. Right after the Jake fud event we started noticing sells after every single buy order. So we watched it and tried many different buy orders. V2, V3, cow swap as well as Switch. They all route to the same place. Then, because we had a hunch, we checked Morph. Yep, it was there too. Then we checked AWX…there too. It wasn’t happening pre Fud event, because we easily reached $3.5m mc in 5 weeks. Now if you try to make a buy on DFDX, you will see an automatic sell. Just follow the yellow brick road.

Can confirm that bot got attached to $DFDX also. We saw it on Morph and AWX as well. Pretty much anything built on DragonX.

Let me guess, it ends 1F63? Anything paired with DX will be arbed for cheaper DX by this wallet. If you try to have your DX paired token outperform DX, no can do thanks to this wallet. 6 more months until we can completely disconnect $DFDX from $DX. Cant wait!

For flat shading i've done this in frag vec3 norm = normalize( cross( dFdx( fragWPos), dFdy( fragWPos ) ) ); Wonder if this can be modified to make it smooth with some more sampling.

Congrats! Without Burn, FSRS-rs cannot be a thing. My cooperator @asukam1nat0 and I tried tch, dfdx and candle. but all of them didn't meet our demand. Only Burn allow us to design a custom training loop, and implement a rare model. Btw, my Rust skill is still crappy.😂
