No funding for
@eternlwallet means the team will need around 5,000 users to purchase PRO subscriptions to sustain development for another year.
If that support doesn’t materialise, the wallet won’t disappear, but development will be scaled back, and Eternl will enter maintenance mode until better times.
Eternl reportedly has around 130,000 installations across browsers, iOS and Android. It remains one of Cardano’s most widely used wallets, yet its future development is now uncertain.
The irony isn’t lost on me.
I reluctantly abstained from their funding proposal while using Eternl to submit the vote.
