I admit my wording was poor, but the logic and conclusions remain unchanged. The core logic is that we have spent a huge amount on adoption in the past, but with virtually no effect. The statement that Cardano has not spent on adoption is incorrect. Clearly, we need to learn from the past. The proposals submitted to the budget process and the governance actions submitted to the on-chain governance action board seemed to me to resemble patterns that have not worked in the past. I have tried to articulate this as clearly as possible in my voting reasons. I don't know the voting reasons for the other DReps, but they may have been thinking similarly. Unless a proposal for adoption through DRep is exceptionally well-crafted, it will likely need to go through 3-4 revisions. It will be difficult to avoid this.
