Share your research results and data products on EarthCODE to give them the attention they deserve!
The @esa's Climate Change Initiative has placed its demonstrator on EarthCODE, consisting of two Jupyter Notebooks and illustrating the seamless integration of the Climate Change Initiative Toolbox, Earth System Data Lab (DeepESDL), and the Open Science Catalog and their collaborative functionality.
It guides you through a process of retrieving and processing climate data and publishing scientific results. Whether your project is ongoing or already completed, you can keep your work visible and accessible.
Explore the demonstrator and take a look at the published results: github.com/esa-cci/ect-demon…
It's the third day of #IGARSS2024!
Today we will talk about: #DestinE, Quantum sensing for space-based #EO, DeepESDL, @CopernicusEU data access ecosystem and much more!
Don't miss it! Pass by @esa's stand (14-16).
Programme details down here ⬇️
3/3
The challenge:
1⃣ First you will dive into #DeepESDL (earthsystemdatalab.net) for scientific exploration
2⃣ Then you craft your compelling narrative with a societal impact element.
The best stories earn a spot on #eodash (eodashboard.org), showcased to the world!
BC was at Big Data from Space 2023 in Vienna, presenting a tutorial on using the DeepESDL platform to implement open, reproducible scientific workflows.
Home from a great week at @ESA_EO ESRIN with the @EoCdt. We had a great time hearing about the different ESA satellites, working with DeepESDL data cubes and exploring Rome 🌍🛰️
🟦Great experience with SENSE CDT @EOCdt students while Earth System Science #DeepESDL workshop at ESRIN! Thank you for the lively participation and we are curious to hear about the outcome of the last days work later today 👩💻🌍🛰️👨💻. @Rsc4Earth @ESA_EO@esaclimate
So now there’s lots of great ideas orbiting the room in the #ESRIN Science Hub! 🛰️🌍💡Stay tuned to hear more about our group challenge work using #DeepESDL satellite data cubes, as we present our results tomorrow! 👀 @ESA_EO#roaming
On Tuesday, we had a hands-on demo with Guido Kraemer from @UniLeipzig @Rsc4Earth on handling and processing Earth System Data Lab’s data cubes using #JuliaLang@JuliaLanguage#DeepESDL 💻 🌍 🟨
It’s been a busy few days for cohort 1 at @ESA_EO ESRIN 🇮🇹 🛰️
We’ve had talks from mission managers 🛰️, a tour of the phi lab 💻, a workshop using big data cubes with #ML#DeepESDL 🌍 and eaten lots and lots of food at the bellissimo @esa canteen 🤌🏼🤌🏼
Some highlights below👇🏼
🟦Successful onboarding for Earth System Science #DeepESDL workshop in ESRIN next week. We are looking forward to meet you in person and work on some science questions! We wonder who will bring space 🌌 in their luggage - and what for🍕🍨?
