The inaugural session of four concurrent workshops on Reviewing NISHTHA Educational Technology L1 and L2: Phase 1, Leveraging Digital Technology in School Education for Master Trainers of Various Constituents of NCERT, Reviewing Baseline Survey Tools of NISHTHA โ Educational Technology, and Development of e-Contents for โExploring Society: India and Beyond, Part-1โ was held at CIET-NCERT from 6th to 10th October 2025.
Experts from SCERTs, DIETs, Government Schools, Kendriya Vidyalayas, Regional Institutes of Education (RIEs), Sarvodaya Schools, and various universities participated in the workshops.
Prof. Indu Kumar, Head, DICT & TD, and Prof. Rajendra Pal, Head, MPD, delivered the opening remarks and welcomed the participants.
Prof. Sharad Sinha highlighted that technology today is both a necessity and an opportunity, emphasizing the importance of ensuring safe digital citizenship.
Prof. Amarendra Behera, In-Charge Joint Director, CIET, focused on how skill, scale, and speed can be achieved through a holistic and innovative approach powered by technology. He further emphasized alignment with the goals of NEP 2020 and NCF-SE 2023.
The programme coordinator, Dr. Angel, presented an overview of the workshop layout, while Dr. Ravi Nautiyal delivered the vote of thanks.
