How do you avoid injuries while working out?
Steven R. Covey, author of “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People” lists one of the effective habits as always “sharpen the saw” through physical exercise. In a twist of sad ironic fate, while exercising riding his bike he fell and hit his head and later passed away from the injury.
Being affriad of getting injured while working out can be a real obstacle for participates, the medical world calls it traumatophobia. As we age the fear of injuries comes from seeing it happen to others or even ourselves.
Here are a few tips to help anyone experiencing traumatophobia.
1. Workout with a friend.
2. Workout at home.
3. Start with Yoga
4. Seek mental help in extreme cases.
