Over six enriching days (23–28 March 2026), the programme brought together academicians and practitioners to explore participatory approaches that bridge academic research with meaningful community engagement. 📘 Glimpses of the Six-Day Faculty Development Programme on Community-Based Participatory Research (CBPR) Under Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) | MMTTC, University of Hyderabad The Six-Day FDP on Community-Based Participatory Research (CBPR) commenced with a meaningful inaugural session on 19 January 2026, followed by intensive sessions focusing on field-based learning and community engagement. The inaugural session featured insightful addresses by Prof. Manish Joshi (@TweetJoshmanish), Secretary, University Grants Commission; Shri Armstrong Pame, Joint Secretary (UBA, ICC & RUSA), Ministry of Education; Prof. Virendra Kumar Vijay, National Coordinator, Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA), IIT Delhi; Shri P. J. Wesley, Deputy Commissioner, Government of Telangana & Nodal Officer, Ministry of Panchayati Raj; Prof. Rajesh Tandon, Member, UGC–UBA SEG Expert Committee; Prof. Vasuki Belavadi, Director, MMTTC, University of Hyderabad; and Dr. Diksha Rajput, Joint Secretary, University Grants Commission.
