अखादन्ननुमोदंश्च भावदोषेण मानवः। योऽनुमोदति हन्यन्तं सोऽपि दोषेण लिप्यते।। जो स्वयं तो मांस नहीं खाता, परन्तु खाने वाले का अनुमोदन करता है, वह भी भाव-दोष के कारण मांसभक्षण के पाप का भागी होता है। इसी प्रकार जो मारने वाले का अनुमोदन करता है, वह भी हिंसा के दोष से लिप्त होता है।

न हि मांसं तृणात् काष्ठादुपलाद् वापि जायते। हत्वा जन्तुं ततो मांसं तस्माद् दोषस्तु भक्षणे।। अर्थ: मांस तृण से, काष्ठ यानी लकड़ी से अथवा पत्थर से पैदा नहीं होता, वह प्राणी की हत्या करने पर ही उपलब्ध होता है, अतः उसके खाने में महादोष है।

एवं वै परमं धर्मं प्रशंसन्ति मनीषिणः। प्राणा यथाऽऽत्मनोऽभीष्टा भूतानामपि वै तथा।। अर्थ: इस प्रकार मनीषी पुरुष अहिंसारूप परमधर्म की प्रशंसा करते हैं। जैसे मनुष्य को अपने प्राण प्रिय होते हैं, वैसे ही सभी प्राणियों को अपने-अपने प्राण प्रिय जान पड़ते हैं।

ददाति यजते चापि तपस्वी च भवत्यपि। मधुमांसनिवृत्येति प्राह चैवं बृहस्पतिः।। अर्थ: बृहस्पतिजी का कथन है…’जो मद्य और मांस त्याग देता है, वह दान देता, यज्ञ और तप करता है अर्थात् उसे इन तीनों का फल मिलता है।

अधृष्यः सर्वभूतानां विश्वास्यः सर्वजन्तुषु। साधूनां सम्मतो नित्यं भवेन्मांसं विवर्जयन्।। अर्थ: जो मनुष्य मांस का परित्याग कर देता है, वह सब प्राणियों में आदरणीय, सब जीवों का विश्वसनीय और सदा साधुओं से सम्मानित होता है।

स्वमांसं परमांसेन यो वर्धयितुमिच्छति। नाति क्षुद्रतरस्तस्मात्स नृशंसतरो नरः। जो दूसरों के मांस से अपना मांस बढ़ाना चाहता है, उससे बढ़कर नीच और निर्दयी मनुष्य दूसरा कोई नहीं है।

उसमें ऐसा भी नहीं लिखा कि अपने मां-बाप को मत खा तो फिर देख ले तेरे हिसाब से

आपका सवाल ही गलत है। क़ुरान या बाइबल की तरह सनातन संस्कृति में कोई देवप्रदत पुस्तक नही है। जो भी ग्रंथ मौजूद है वो ऋषियों एवं ऋषिकाओं के द्वारा लिखी हुई है। इसलिए भारतीय हिन्दू संस्कृति में पुस्तकें नही, बल्कि लोगों की मान्यताए अंतिम है। और भारत की लोग गाय को माता मानते है।
