Honest insight after 2 weeks farming Mindshare on
@quipnetwork: The more you write, the easier it is to drop rank if you don’t play it right
People often say “content grinding is king” in creator programs, but with Quip Network, that’s not entirely true. The testnet just went live in early April 2026, Season 1 leaderboard is heating up, top 315 will share $100K
$QUIP points converted into allocation at TGE in Q2. Sounds attractive, but from my actual farming experience: the more you write, the more your mindshare drops if you just spam stuff like “gm Quip fam, quantum is the future.”
What I realized after dropping from ~top 1xx to ~2xx:
1. Quantity doesn’t beat quality engagement
I used to post 3–4 times a day, mostly threads breaking down quantum-resistant tech, shared quantum computers, hybrid blockchain… But engagement was low, so X’s algorithm didn’t push it. Meanwhile, higher-ranked users usually post 1–2 high-quality pieces and actively reply to comments, tag others, and create discussions. The Mindshare leaderboard clearly favors real conversations over sheer content volume.
2. Quantum narrative is too abstract you need to “ground” it
Most retail crypto is currently chasing AI agents, memecoins, DePIN. Quantum sounds cool but is hard to grasp. My insight: don’t go too deep into technical explanations right away. Instead, tell stories like:
“Quip’s quantum computer could crack normal wallets in seconds, so I migrated my assets to a quantum-safe wrapper today.”
Or: “If the quantum threat really hits around 2028–2030, which projects are preparing the earliest?”
These angles create more FOMO and replies.
3. Slow leaderboard updates unclear mechanics
A lot of people are complaining about “waiting for leaderboard update” daily. My rank dropped despite consistent posting, which suggests factors beyond content (maybe quality score, depth of interaction, or even wallet activity testnet node). My current effective farming strategy:
• 1 deep thread 2–3 supporting short tweets per day
• Actively reply under official posts from
@quipnetwork and top creators
• Run a testnet node (if your machine can handle it) for multipliers
• Use hashtags
#QuipNetwork #Mindshare #QuantumCompute naturally
My farming conclusion going forward:
No more all-in content grinding. Switching to smart farming: 60% focus on quality engagement, 40% on on-chain activity (quests node). If I make top 315 in Season 1, great (top 1 gets $5k
$QUIP, ranks 101–315 get $100). If not, I’ll treat it as learning a long-term narrative.
Quip has real tech (quantum-classical hybrid, post-quantum security), backed by Portal Ventures OrangeDAO, with mainnet TGE planned for Q2/2026. Not a quick rug type, but short-term hype is cooling because the narrative is hard to make viral.
