See the full interview on our YouTube channel: ‘4 Evidences for a Young Earth’ - youtu.be/y23ap4bKSi0 Did you know that some glaciology pioneers suggested that counting ice core layers could only yield ages of 10% accuracy or better for ice LESS THAN 200 YEARS OLD?! (See article 3, below, for reference.) Why so little confidence in using ice cores to make assertions about the deep past? The simple truth is that ice core dating, like every other dating method, is reliant on unverifiable assumptions about the past. The assumptions you use will determine the answers you get. Of course, secular scientists use long-age (uniformitarian) assumptions—and get long-age answers. Biblical creationists use assumptions derived from the Bible’s history of the earth, and get very different answers. So no, ice core dating does NOT prove the earth is old. For much more on ice core dating, see: → Ice core oscillations and abrupt climate changes (the first of a 5-part series; see the 'Related Articles’ section) – creation.com/ice-core-oscill… → Are ice cores evidence for many thousands of years? Reading about whiteouts takes me back to @egripcamp this summer when I was "lucky" enough to experience a day with very low visibility, with wind speeds up to 24 knots. Here are some during and after pictures. 😁 (1/2) #Greenland #icecorescience #fieldwork #iceicebaby
