Over 60 percent of fraud victims in Bangladesh, India, and Kenya are unaware that a grievance channel exists. Not unwilling to use it. Unaware it even exists. MicroSave Consulting's report from November 2024 and updated in March 2025 sheds light on this uncomfortable truth that practitioners in nations of the Global South have long suspected. Scams are not rare, and they hit the urban poor hardest, particularly women and underserved populations. When the money is gone, most victims have no idea what to do next. The system usually offers no consolation, only silence. Even among those who reported issues, nearly 60% saw no resolution, and worse, a significant number of complaints were rejected due to incomplete documentation. Global digital financial fraud losses exceeded One Trillion dollars in 2024. Among those who fall victim, only a reported 4% fully recover their money. All the while, the system ticks a compliance box while the risk stays with the person, often one who could least afford it. Bureaunia too built real-time fraud detection but invested nothing in real-time fraud recovery. This is not inclusion. It is exposure. How is AI aiding stroke recovery? 🦾 94 million people worldwide live with the life-altering after-effects of a stroke. Some struggle to hold a cup of water or button their shirt, making daily tasks exhausting. (Source: World Stroke Organization) Our Ambassador Zain Samdani saw these effects on his uncle and decided to act. He saw a gap in tech innovation and healthcare and this inspired him to invent Exoheal, a robotic glove and companion app that helps stroke patients: ✋ regain hand movement 💪 rebuild strength 🏡 restore independence Exoheal enabled over 100 patients to recover from a stroke through physical therapy in the comfort of their own homes. #AntwerpFirst werkt nauw samen met Sporting A op het gebied van #InclusionFirst. Zo namen de Antwerp Streetboys, de Antwerp Nomaadboys en de Younited Antwerpen Legends onder de vlag van RAFC afgelopen week deel aan het regiotoernooi van Younited Belgium in Garrincha Hoboken. Een dag waarbij plezier maken, samenhorigheid en sportieve inzet centraal stonden! 🤝🔴⚪ Later deze maand staat speeldag 20 van de @ProLeagueBE , de kerstwedstrijd tegen KRC Genk, volledig in het teken van @YounitedBelgium ! 🎅🎄

In België ondervindt 8% van de bevolking tussen 15 en 64 jaar ernstige hinder bij dagelijkse activiteiten door een handicap of door langdurige gezondheidsproblemen. Royal Antwerp Football Club ondersteunt met haar communitywerking #AntwerpFirst verschillende initiatieven: de ASC G-fans, het G-voetbal bij Oxaco Boechout, RAAFC en een stille ruimte in het Bosuilstadion. De inclusieve werking van ASC G-fans is er voor onze minder mobiele fans. Zij kunnen iedere wedstrijd genieten van de voor hen voorziene rolstoelplatformen, goed bereikbare plaatsen en/of de blinden- en slechtziendentribune, mét aangepaste commentaar. Op de terreinen van Oxaco Boechout wordt er georganiseerd voetbal gefaciliteerd voor jongeren met een verstandelijke, fysieke en/of fysieke beperking. De focus ligt er op uitgaan van eigen talent, mét een maximaal aan plezier! Daarnaast is RAAFC (Royal Antwerp Amputee Football Club) als eerste club voor mensen met een amputatie, een pionier in België. Dierbaren die de Bosuil in hun hart droegen en een onvoorwaardelijke liefde hadden voor Rood-Wit. Nabestaanden krijgen de kans om de naam van hun dierbare op een unieke manier op de Bosuil te laten schitteren. Zo zullen we, één keer per jaar, op een unieke manier van de Bosuil De Hemel Van Deurne-Noord maken. Om de avond compleet te maken, eren we vlak voor de aftrap al onze dierbaren met het RAFC-clublied, gevolgd door You’ll Never Walk alone.
