@FEC_Council) in partnership with the Ministry of External Affairs (
@MEAIndia) and the Government of Maharashtra.
Dr. Amol Baxi (
@amolbaxi), Visiting Fellow, RIS, joined panel discussion on 'Financing Infrastructure & Innovation: Alliances for Global Economic Stability' in Mumbai.
In his remarks, he highlighted the complexity of infrastructure financing and emphasized the importance of alliances in areas such as augmenting institutional capital flows, reforming existing institutions, creating new institutions, de-risking financing, and sharing best practices. Dr. Baxi also underlined the importance of collaborative approaches in developing sustainable financing solutions, particularly in light of prevalent debt distress in many low-income countries.

The session explored the evolving role of strategic alliances in financing infrastructure and innovation, and in fostering innovation-led growth in an increasingly multipolar world.
