I completely agree—legal immigrants who followed the rules should NEVER be penalized. That is exactly why I support the Dignity Act (H.R. 4393). 🛡️ Unlike previous bills, this one actually clears the legal backlog. It ensures that no one who has been waiting in line for 10 years is left behind, and it even allows for "fast-track" green cards for those who have done everything right. For people like my parents, who worked in the shadows for 25 years, it’s not about "coming before" anyone. It’s about finally paying their way ($7,000 in restitution!) to earn a legal status that is below citizenship. Legal immigrants keep their priority—we just stop the chaos of the underground economy. 🕊️ ✍️ 1,296 want a system that is fair to everyone: www. changeourstatus .com #DignityAct #ImmigrationReform #HR4393 #LegalImmigration @RepMariaSalazar @RepEscobar #InvisibleWorkforce

Respectfully, Congressman, there is a major difference between recent arrivals and the #InvisibleWorkforce. People like my parents have worked in the U.S. for 25 years without work permits or a single "freebie." In fact, they contributed to the $96B in taxes paid by undocumented residents annually—funding Social Security and Medicare they can never use. They didn't "leech"; they subsidized. 🛡️ The #DignityAct (H.R. 4393) is the bipartisan solution that stops the chaos and recognizes those who have already paid their share into our country. ✍️ Join 1,296 voices for real reform: www. changeourstatus .com #ImmigrationReform #DignityAct @RepMariaSalazar @RepEscobar

We don’t talk about this enough 👇 Unpaid carers in the UK provide care worth £183 BILLION a year. That’s more than the entire NHS England budget. This invisible workforce is keeping the system standing — but most get: no salary no pension contributions no sick pay very limited financial support Many have to reduce hours or leave work altogether. Their contribution is gigantic — but their recognition is tiny. It’s time policy, employers & services treated unpaid care as what it is: critical national infrastructure. Support for carers isn’t “nice to have”. It’s an economic necessity. #UnpaidCarers #SocialCare #CarersRights #Economy #CareCrisis #InvisibleWorkforce caring-life.uk/2025/11/02/th…

A civic & humanitarian crisis is silently unfolding in #Gurugram. As a #police verification drive targets alleged illegal #immigrants, hundreds of migrant workers — the backbone of city services — are fleeing overnight. Stinking #garbage, unmopped corridors & scrambling residents now mark upscale colonies. The mass exodus has crippled daily life, exposing our dependence on an invisible workforce from #Bengal & #Assam. Trucks full of fleeing families were seen in South City 2, Sector 45, 47, 109, Wazirabad & more. #GurugramCrisis #MigrantWorkers #CivicCollapse #HumanRights #UrbanExodus #MCG #PoliceVerification #InvisibleWorkforce #GarbageCrisis #RWAsInDistress #HaryanaNews

Global Trade Moves by Sea — But Who Moves the Sea? Every day, Indian seafarers transport the goods we rely on — fuel, food, medicine, electronics — across oceans. Yet their names are rarely known, and their stories barely told. - India contributes over 10% of the global seafaring workforce — one of the largest in the world. These professionals are trained, certified, and critical to keeping international trade flowing. - But despite their essential role, Indian seafarers often face: •Long months at sea with limited shore leave •Gaps in long-term security like pensions •Bureaucratic delays during medical or emergency repatriation •A lack of representation in national maritime policy They are the invisible backbone of the maritime economy. And it’s time we acknowledged them — not as service providers, but as stakeholders. 🇮🇳 As India speaks of becoming a maritime power, its people at sea must be part of that vision. We don’t need sympathy — we need systems. We don’t need slogans — we need structural support. Let’s bring our seafarers out of the shadows and into the spotlight they rightfully deserve. #Seafarers #MaritimeIndia #SupplyChain #IndianSeafarers #BlueEconomy #InvisibleWorkforce #GlobalTrade #PolicyMatters #SeafarerVoices

This government needs to prove they care about full time family carers because as it stands thousands don’t exist in their realm #InvisibleWorkforce Many feel left out in the cold every budget, practically abandoned @HHumphreysFG @AnneRabbitte @Paschald @JohnLahart @padraigosull

Hi @dotdavies1 I’m hearing loads about paid older workers but how about our #invisibleworkforce of #UnpaidCarers who are holding up the breaking NHS and social care yet are forced into poverty?

Like me 🙋🏻‍♀️who is part of an #invisibleworkforce that’s only going to continue to grow alongside the needs of an aging population and #caregiver shortage.
An ever-growing number of #senior #caregivers ARE NOT qualified nurses or paid professionals. Instead, they are spouses, partners, family members, friends, and/or neighbours.

Many of us are full time carers who have to leave work, reduce our hours or take a career break to care for our loved ones. What would help, set days for Carers, flexibility for Carers, Support for Carers as often we are an #invisibleworkforce

Are you caring for a child, grandchild, sibling, or parent? Family caregivers who are 50 and over comprise a $604 billion “invisible workforce.” #FridayFacts #Caregivers #EveryAgeMatters #Kinship #InvisibleWorkforce

Yet they have remained invisible because of systemic barriers and our collective apathy. In this series of stories, we are going to highlight such #invisibleworkforce as well as the invisible hazards involved while working. #migrantworkers

May I suggest a recommendation? 🙏 That the work of teaching assistants is standardised and TAs become a fully recognised educational element of supporting children with educational needs @UKTAHub #invisibleworkforce It’s time to professionalise the work of teaching assistants
