Bhattiprolu Script is called so because it was found in that location. Just because it is located in today’s Andhra doesn’t mean it has to be associated with the Telugu language. Bhattiprolu is a South Brahmi script, which later evolved into Kadamba Script and then Hale Kannada and then Kannada. Telugu is a shoot of Hale Kannada script. There is no such thing as Kannada-Telugu script. No epigraphic/ archaeological evidence supports it except a few fake videos and articles by Gulties to claim false fame. Ashte. #Bhattiprolu #Brahmi #Kannada #KannadaScript

The #Bhattiprolu script later influenced the Kadamba script, which in turn gave rise to the Telugu-Kannada script. 🧵2/2

In the entire ocean of Sanskrit literature… this vowel appears only once. 🤯 Yes, only ONE time — in ONE word. The letter is: ऌ (Ḷ / L̥) What’s wild is: every Indian script has its own symbol for it — ऌ | ঌ | ᬍ | ಌ | ഌ | 𑐈 …but scholars still debate its real pronunciation. One side argues the flow of the Maheshvara Sūtras supports a certain sound: aiuṇ–ṛl̥k… The other side argues Sanskrit always keeps unique sounds for unique letters, so this vowel must have a distinct pronunciation too. And the only word where it appears is: कॢप्त (kḷpta / kl̥pta) = arranged / prepared. 👇 So what do you think? kḷpta or kl̥pta? Comment your pronunciation and share this with a friend who loves Sanskrit. Most northerners will not be able to tell what this is. Sanskrit is being written in Kannada script for thousands of years. The recent Hindutva driven Devanagari script is erasing the Kannada heritage of centuries. That's why Hindutva is dangerous. #KannadaScript

Even when we were young, Sanskrit was usually written in Kannada script, a tradition which dates back to centuries. Attributing Sanskrit to Devanagari script is taking away the cultural bond between Kannadigas and Sanskrit. #SayNoToDevanagariScript #KannadaScript #Sanskrit

Truth needs to be told to these propagandist KokkeKonkanis. Centuries ago, when European colonizers started Kannada as Medium of FORMAL school Education in TuluNad,it was mainly native TuluBrahmins&other native KannadaBrahmins voluntarily adopted KannadaScript in School education
