I am looking for a markdown electronic lab notebook (ELN) with easy organization (e.g. channels -> threads) and open source, not too much forced structure (vs. openBIS, elabFTW, ...). Something like labfolder, but cooler and freeee. Any ideas and/or recommendations?

We use labfolder. Mpi fully switched everyone to it a few years ago and it was great to have during the pandemic. Took a bit of getting used to and everyone does a little different (also true of paper) but i find the ELN is worth it for sharing and making things findable.

@labfolder Any idea why the fonts are so tiny in the PDF exports? What does 14 mean in the LF font size drop-down? It doesn't seem to line up with 14 pt OR 14 px when exported. (LF in blue, PS in red.) Thanks!

We use @eLabFTW and I am very happy with it :-) Also useful as a database for Antobodies, PCR oligos,..ecc.
