As always in Beam, the DApp frontend will be retrieved from IPFS and then stored and run locally within you wallet. Uncensorable.
If you want to look at the source code, you'll find it in the "localapps" folder of your wallet data (the GUID is 236036ed57e745b78d6c2c79e9521617).

Don’t pip install anything. Just bring the module files in througb ldad and place in a directory like /runtime/localapps/mypython and then add that path to the Python path via shell script. This way you don’t mess with AWIPS’s installed Python or awips’s Python path.

You can install those now in something like /runtime/localapps in the AWIPS directory structure and just add it to your Python path in a shell script. I added all kind of Python modules in AWIPS, but not “to AWIPS” that way at the WFO level.
