Met the team from MITCON, who presented a proposal for setting up a Green Skills Training initiative in Kalaburagi district. The initiative will align local skilling efforts with the growing demand emerging from India’s green economy transition.
We discussed training across renewable energy, electric mobility, battery energy storage, green hydrogen, bio-energy, waste management and sustainable construction, with a phased approach to build industry-ready skills.
Strengthening green skills capacity in Kalyana Karnataka can accelerate the local economy, create employment opportunities and position the region as a key hub for the state’s clean energy and sustainability ambitions.
