Today, we stepped out together with the Honourable Commissioner for Health and other top echelons of the ministry of health for our health! As part of the activities lined-up by the Niger State Ministry of Health, in conjunction with other active partners to mark the World Health Day. We had a refreshing Health Walk, to remind everyone that movement is medicine. Other activities that followed were press briefing by the HCH, free medical screenings for all residents at designated points within Minna. Thank you to everyone who showed up and walked with us! When you sleeping your body goes into rest mode = reduced energy expenditure. All that energy will be convert to fats because the body is not using it. Since the body cant excrete fat, where does it go= gets converted to adipose (fatty) tissue then resulting to weight gain.
