Apparently 33k are watching John McGowan’s livestream right now and that has to be more viewers than most of the weird fta multichannels

In the end, those predictions that Digital TV would eventually come down in price *did* come true. But it wasn't until the commercial networks were finally allowed to launch multichannels in the Late 2000s/Early 2010s that your average consumer really adopted DVB-T en masse.

Of the multichannels that are still SD-only, I think we'll likely see ABC Family, 9Life, 9Rush, Nickelodeon & SBS FOOD in its full 1080i glory once the respective networks go all-MPEG4. Shopping channels and ultra-niche stuff like SBS WorldWatch will probably remain in MPEG4 SD.

@H100Group Bitcoin treasuries will collaborate by connecting to each other over the Lightning Network. Long term, this will also happen via physical datacenters through Liquidity Exchange Points (multichannels) that we’re building at Flowrate.

My guess is that while we'll probably see a few more multichannels switched to MPEG4 HD in 2026 (most likely ABC Kids/Family, 9Life, 9Rush and SBS FOOD, I'd think), we're probably still another year or two away from the remaining MPEG2 SD versions of main channels disappearing.

FWIW: I'm willing to guess that we'll likely see more multichannels become MPEG4-only in 2026, but that it may still be a further year or two before the networks finally cease transmissions of the MPEG2 SD main channel streams that have been running (in various forms) since 2001!

I'm studying at a language school in Japan, today is the last day of exams and I'll have a long winter break. Besides trading I'll full focus on content and my personal brand to grow. This would both help me personally and to $DISNEYFY Text: - Daily summaries of trenches (already started but had to pause) - Daily narratives report (failed or succeeded) - Got some other ideas that I won't reveal now Video: - Weekly trench report including coins sentiment - Narrative explainers for big runners - Educational viddeos for crypto terms (i.e what's pvp) - Loser videos (parody videos for the runners I missed also explaining the reasons too) Streaming, will probably launch a 0 value Pump token to stream on multichannels besides Twitch and Kick. (DO NOT BUY IF I DO THAT I WON'T DO ANYTHING FOR THE TOKEN, IT WILL BE ONLY FOR THE STREAM) So basically I'll do everything I can to grow my personal brand, turn into a KOL hopefully, and have more weight on CT. New content starting tomorrow, see you.

Congratulations to Seven for winning 2025 Ratings! That's despite Nine having a lot of strong prime time shows. AFL and multichannels probably key. Unfortunately Tipping Point's lead increased this year. tvtonight.com.au/2025/12/sev…

Woke TV sux. Someone would become very wealthy if they created a 24/7 UNWOKE CABLE Network & Antenna TV wit MultiChannels=Archived Movies ALL SCREENED for wokeness=documentaries, TV series like Marvel's "The💀Punisher" B4 Netflix cancel excuse=violence, but NO WOKENESS=💯 REASON

OT2 prices seem reasonably stable? Just bought one for ~5k with 2 multichannels included, to take on some annoying prep steps.

*Yes, it can be reasonably proved it was a Network Ten decision to flip over regional multichannels to HD rather than that of now-former affiliates. Also, is Sky News Regional still on-air in those markets? Rather oddly, that channel seemed to be in MPEG2 SD last I checked! 🤔
