We are excited to introduce ART, Adaptive Ray Tracing, the next-generation technology that brings full ray tracing fidelity to the @aurorapowered Game Engine and RTX-powered experiences, delivering breathtaking visuals exactly when needed while intelligently conserving GPU power the rest of the time.
How ART Works:
Every second frame, ART performs an instant comparison between the scene rendered without ray tracing and the same scene running with advanced ray traced effects: Global Illumination, realistic light bounces, and dynamic reflections.
If the non-ray traced frame achieves 90% or greater visual similarity, ART automatically disables the unnecessary ray traced effects in real time.
The result: up to a 20% FPS boost during ray tracing sessions, all while preserving pixel-perfect accuracy and stunning visual quality.
No more wasted cycles on invisible details. Just smarter, faster, next-generation real-time ray tracing.
