I think this is a good example of villous linear subtrophoblastic mineralization, a distinctive pattern that has been associated w/ congenital anomalies, Trisomy 21, anencephaly, & antenatal Bartter syndrome. This case: cytogenetics = Trisomy 21 #obpath #placentapath

#obpath - POC: morphologically looks like complete mole; ploidy analysis = diploid p57 is a bit strange: villous stromal cells are uniformly negative, but a subset of villi have few p57 cytotrophoblast Per PMID: 30500280 - a few p57 cells are OK. Is that your experience? (1/3)
