A remarkable day on the greens, where sport met purpose and partnerships strengthened the future of education. NetOne was honoured to stand alongside Bindura University of Science Education at the 5th Vice Chancellor’s Golf Tournament, an inspiring platform that united leaders, partners and stakeholders in support of education, innovation and national development. Delivering the Guest of Honour address, our visionary Group Chief Executive Officer, Raphael Mushanawani, eloquently underscored the transformative power of strategic partnerships in unlocking opportunities for young people and accelerating Zimbabwe’s development trajectory. His leadership continues to position NetOne as a catalyst for meaningful impact across communities. On the course, NetOne’s leadership presence was proudly represented by Mr Manhando, Head of Human Resources, and Mr Chakurira, Head of Finance, who joined fellow participants in support of this noble cause. The day was made even more special as members of the NetOne family — P. Sithole and Anesu Masvaure — brought home prizes from the tournament, a proud reflection of the excellence and spirit that define our team. At NetOne, we remain steadfast in championing partnerships that empower institutions, uplift communities, and open doors for future generations. Together, we are building a stronger, smarter and more connected Zimbabwe. #TheWorldInOne #NetOne #PartnershipsForDevelopment #EducationForTheFuture

On February 13, the 7th Joint Coordination Committee of the Digital & Innovation Promotion Project convened at MINICT, bringing together core project members and key stakeholders from MINICT, RISA, ILO, Huye District, JICA Rwanda, and a mission from JICA Headquarters. The Committee reviewed and confirmed the Project’s overall progress since inception, acknowledging the successful completion of key outputs. Together with all stakeholders, we’ll run through up to September 2026 to refine and disseminate the “Rwanda Model” in this area. As part of the meeting, the top five startups from the Huye and Musanze Innovation Hubs, graduates of this year’s Hanga Hub Incubation Program, showcased their solutions, creating a valuable opportunity to engage directly with stakeholders and receive insightful feedback to further strengthen their innovations. (Dentalsight AI and Be Life from Huye / VEGGIEFISH, AYASHI GROUP, and CAVGO from Musanze) JICA extends its sincere appreciation to MINICT, RISA, district partners, and all other stakeholders for their strong cooperation throughout the project. We remain committed to supporting the timely completion of all project outputs and ensuring sustainable impact for Rwanda’s digital innovation ecosystem. @RwandaICT @RISARwanda @HuyeDistrict @MusanzeDistrict @HubHuye2 @HubMusanze @asyv #DigitalInnovation #DigitalTransformation #PartnershipsForDevelopment

SOUTH KOREA FUNDS NEW PLANT TO BOOST ZIMBABWE’S DROUGHT-TOLERANT MAIZE PRODUCTION!!! Zimbabwe has received a major boost in its fight against food insecurity following the commissioning of a state-of-the-art drought-tolerant seed maize processing plant at the Scientific and Industrial Research and Development Centre (SIRDC) in Harare. The facility, funded under the Korea Partnership for Innovation in Agriculture, marks a milestone in growing Zimbabwe–Korea bilateral cooperation, strengthening innovation, climate resilience, and sustainable agricultural development. Officially handed over by South Korean Ambassador His Excellency Jae Kyung, the plant will enhance local seed production capacity, ensuring that smallholder farmers gain improved access to high-quality drought-resilient varieties. These varieties are crucial for stabilising yields, protecting rural livelihoods, and improving national food security as Zimbabwe confronts the realities of climate change. Government and SIRDC officials hailed the initiative as a driver of industrial revitalisation, youth and women employment creation, technology transfer, and skills development. This development aligns seamlessly with His Excellency President Dr Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa’s Vision 2030 and the objectives of NDS2, which prioritise modernisation, mechanisation, value addition, and innovation to restore Zimbabwe’s status as the breadbasket of Southern Africa while building a resilient, inclusive upper-middle-income economy. #Vision2030 #EDMnangagwa #ZimKoreaRelations #FoodSecurityZW #DroughtResilientSeeds #ClimateSmartAgriculture #NDS2 #AgriculturalModernisation #ZimDevelopment #SIRDC #InnovationForDevelopment #IndustrialisationZW #UpperMiddleIncome2030 #SustainableFarming #PartnershipsForDevelopment #SDG17 #EmpoweringFarmers #ZimbabweRising #BreadbasketOfAfrica #ClimateResilience @edmnangagwa @wicknellchivayo
