THE GLOBAL SURVALLENCE ECONOMY: You Phone Is A Tracking Device And Facebook And Other Social Media Outlets Know About You Than Your Mother PENTAGON: Pentagon Says US Military Personnel Are Reportedly Being Targeted Using Location Data..,. #SMH...As Putin Says How Do You Think I Lost Scores Of Generals In The Ukraine?... AMERICAN DATA BROKERS SELLING USA TROOP LOCATIONS:  U.S. forces deployed to war zones have been targeted using commercially available location data, according to reports fielded by military officials, an illustration of how the global surveillance economy is shaping the battlefield. WASHINGTON (REUTERS) - In a letter shared with Reuters by U.S. Senator Ron Wyden, an Oregon Democrat, U.S. Central Command said it had “received multiple threat reports concerning adversary exploitation of commercial location data to target or surveil U.S. personnel in theater." The message, sent on April 14, offered no further specifics, but Centcom's area of responsibility includes the Gulf, where U.S. forces are facing off against the Iranian military over the Strait of Hormuz. The disclosure was the first official confirmation that U.S. forces had been targeted in an active war zone, Wyden and a bipartisan group of legislators said in a letter sent on Thursday to the Pentagon. "Commercial location data can be used to identify where U.S. troops congregate and their pattern of life, which can be exploited by adversaries to target attacks such as missiles, drones, and roadside bombs, as well as for counterintelligence purposes," the letter warned. Wyden said in a statement that it was time to "start treating the adtech industry as a national security threat."  The Pentagon did not return messages seeking comment. The lawmakers said in their letter that their efforts to obtain more information from military officials about the reported targeting had been unsuccessful.  Location data is widely used in digital advertising, which is a key source of revenue for many tech companies. Such data is typically collected from smartphones or other devices by apps or service providers before being sold to data brokers who collate and resell the data, sometimes via complex networks of intermediaries.  msn.com/en-us/news/us/ar-AA2…  FILED UNDER:  #SurveillanceEconomy, #LocationData, #USMilitary, #TroopTracking, #DataBrokers, #AdTechThreat, #NationalSecurity, #PentagonWarning, #CommercialTracking, #PhoneSpying, #RonWyden, #Centcom, #IranThreat, #StraitOfHormuz, #MilitarySurveillance, #DataPrivacy, #AdversaryExploitation, #GlobalSurveillance, #TroopLocations, #SmartphoneTracking, #BigTechSurveillance, #PrivacyVsSecurity, #USForcesTargeted, #LocationTracking, #WarZoneData, #DigitalSurveillance, #DataBrokerScandal, #MilitaryPrivacy, #AdTechRegulation, #SurveillanceCapitalism, #USDefense, #IranConflict, #TroopSafety, #PhoneAsTracker, #FacebookTracking, #SocialMediaSurveillance, #NationalSecurityThreat, #DataExploitation, #MilitaryIntelligence, #CentcomReport, #PrivacyFail, #TrackingDevices, #DefenseDataBreach, #SurveillanceBattlefield, #TechAccountability, #MilitaryTargeting, #LocationDataAbuse, #SurveillanceState

The "Queen of Privacy" just accidentally invited the whole world to the party! 🏰📸 You’d think the First Lady would have a digital defense squad on speed dial, but apparently, nobody told her that trying to "delete" the internet is like trying to vacuum the ocean. 🌊🧹 By trying to bury the story, she just gave it a front-row seat and a megaphone. 📣📉 It’s Streisand Effect 101: the more you tell the public not to look at something, the more they’re going to zoom in with a microscope. 🔬👀 Is this a massive PR failure, or does the East Wing truly believe they can win a fight against an algorithm? 🧐🏛️ #FirstLady #StreisandEffect #PRNightmare #Internet101 #Politics #SocialMediaStrategy #BreakingNews #PrivacyFail

DISCORD’S BIOMETRIC TRAP 🛑 Discord is forcing EVERY user into "teen mode" unless you scan your face or upload an ID. Handing biometrics to a company that leaked 70k IDs last year isn’t "safety"—it’s mass surveillance. Is this really about kids, or just a data grab? #Discord #PrivacyFail #DataRights

Thread: Dissecting @AnyoneFDN (1/8) In the crypto theater of absurdities, @AnyoneFDN poses as the "new Tor" a DePIN-fueled onion routing network promising anonymity for apps, wallets, and normies alike. Fair-launched in the 2023 bear market as ATOR, rebranded to $ANYONE, it's bootstrapped a 21k relay swarm across 66 countries, 58GB bandwidth, and a free iOS browser that's "10x more private than VPNs." Sounds revolutionary? It's a house of cards built on outdated tech, economic fragility, and regulatory dynamite. Let's eviscerate it thread by thread. Buckle up this is brutal, technical, and unsparing. #ANYONE #DePIN #PrivacyFail

"Accurate on all counts"? Jason's X Chat endorsement sounds great, but experts beg to differ—Elon's platform stores private keys on servers with weak 4-digit PINs, making them easy prey for insiders or brute-force hacks. No perfect forward secrecy means one compromised key exposes everything, and zero independent audits seal the deal on "encryption theater." Why endorse unproven security amid AWS outages? Demand open audits and real PFS—until then, switch to audited champs like Signal for actual privacy. #XChat #PrivacyFail #ElonMusk #EncryptionTruth #DataPrivacy #TechSecurity #SignalBetter #CyberSecurity #AWSOutage

Screenshot alerts on X Chat are a start, but real privacy? Experts slam it for no independent audits, leaving it vulnerable to key interception and brute-force attacks. Worse, it doesn't strip image metadata like GPS, risking location leaks—even Signal does that by default. Why hype features amid AWS outages when basics fail? Push for open audits and true metadata protection over marketing spins. #XChat #PrivacyFail #ElonMusk #EncryptionTruth #DataPrivacy #TechSecurity #SignalBetter

"Total privacy" on X Chat? Elon pushes it during today's massive AWS outage crippling rivals like WhatsApp—but X's encryption lacks independent audits and leaks metadata like GPS from images. No perfect forward secrecy either, per experts. Why risk it? Demand third-party audits for real security—until then, audited apps like Signal are the safer bet. #XChat #PrivacyFail #ElonMusk #AWSOutage #EncryptionTruth #DataPrivacy #TechSecurity

🚨 The AI Confession Files: A Digital Reckoning Against Privacy Predators In today’s hyper-connected world, a chilling revelation has surfaced — one that threatens reputations, careers, and the very notion of personal privacy. The Sunday Guardian’s explosive exposé on the “ChatGPT Confession Files” is not just an investigative story—it’s a wake-up call, a manifesto for digital resistance against unchecked AI power. Imagine this: you open ChatGPT, pour your heart out—complaining about work politics, testing business ideas, or even revealing personal struggles. You hit “share,” believing it’s a private link meant only for a trusted colleague. But here’s the shocking truth: those supposedly private links are often indexed by search engines like Google. What you thought was confidential can suddenly become public—visible to employers, competitors, or anyone with a keyboard. This isn’t paranoia; it’s reality. The watchdog group Digital Digging uncovered thousands of such “confession files,” searchable online for anyone to stumble upon. In India, where privacy laws lag behind technological growth, the fallout has been devastating. Professionals have had strategies leaked, relationships destroyed, and careers ruined. One Mumbai-based executive, Bijraj Singh, shared how a simple brainstorming session ended in catastrophe when sensitive details were exposed. His case isn’t unique—it mirrors countless others. The most alarming part? This isn’t just an oversight—it’s a flaw baked into the design. OpenAI’s ChatGPT prioritizes convenience of sharing over airtight security, making users unknowing participants in an experiment with their privacy on the line. Shared links can be crawled, cataloged, and exposed. In an era where data is the new oil, companies are drilling without consent—profiting from user vulnerabilities while leaving individuals to deal with the consequences. This moment demands more than outrage—it calls for revolution. Users, lawmakers, and technologists must unite to demand: ✅ End-to-end encryption for AI conversations ✅ User-controlled, irreversible data deletion ✅ Stronger global privacy regulations that treat AI leaks as criminal negligence Until then, users must stay vigilant: set chats to private, avoid link sharing, use VPNs, and boycott platforms that place profit above privacy. The AI Confession Files are not just headlines—they are a battle cry. Privacy is no longer a luxury; it’s a right that must be defended. The time to fight back against digital predators is now. 👉 Will you stand by, or will you join the movement? #ChatGPT #AIPrivacy @elonmusk #DigitalDigging #PrivacyFail
