What in the fresh hell is this? CDPH @drtomasaragon isn't recommending N95 respirators to protect against smoke events anymore?! Stop undermining @NIOSH N95s / respiratory protection & follow science, @CAPublicHealth @CA_DIR. #ProtectionOverPolitics @AirResources gets it right:

Agree. One sad part is that it is lost on some folks in charge of protecting Americans from such a crisis.
When forced to move, only minimal activity will be considered, w/ no real innovation.
The wrong team is in charge of this #H5N1 outbreak. Seems no one is actually in charge or making decisions. It’s going to hurt.

People are desperate. Govt is not offering adequate action, reassurance, accountability or protection (💉, clean air, etc) for the 2nd time for kids < 3, most of whom are not able to mask & are in daycare. Can't blame this pediatrician for trying to put #ProtectionOverPolitics
