#LongContext / document-level MT #QualityEstimation model, based on #ModernBERT. It is trained on a dataset of long-context translation pairs with up to 32 sentences (64 sentences in the source and target).

♾️ Long-context / #document-level dataset for #QualityEstimation of Machine Translation. In addition to individual sentences, the long-context dataset contains augmentations of 2, 4, 8, 16, and 32 sentences, among each language pair and domain.

Initial experiments with fine-tuning #ModernBERT for Translation #QualityEstimation.
Results of RoBERTa are comparable so far. Thanks to Flash Attention, ModernBERT is much faster (but, not without it). Still sentence-level, doc-level is next, hopefully.
