Red Hatは、約2週間前に侵入を受け、約570GB（圧縮済）のデータが窃取されました。被害範囲は広く、28,000件以上の内部GitHubプロジェクトおよび約800件のCustomer Engagement Reports（CERs）に及ぶと報じられています。

公開されたリストには、米国の大手金融機関・医療機関、さらには政府機関（FAAや下院など）も含まれており、影響の重大さが際立っています。
CER（Customer Engagement Report）は顧客向けコンサルティング文書であり、以下のような情報が含まれる可能性があります。
・ネットワークやプラットフォームの構成情報
・認証情報（APIトークンやデータベースURIなど）
・インフラの脆弱性や設定詳細
こうした情報が漏洩すれば、顧客環境への二次侵害に直結する極めて高いリスクを伴います。
この事案は、単なるベンダーのセキュリティインシデントにとどまらず、コンサルティング文書を通じた顧客側へのサプライチェーンリスクという新たな局面を示しています。

Day 7: Learning & a Little Win
Today was solid.
Wrapped up RAID storage, explored networking protocols, and even installed configured Red Hat Linux.
Honestly enjoyed every bit of it nothing hits like learning something new and useful.
And the best part?
I finally won my first GA today! 🎉
Small amount, but its a start. Feels good after all the tries.
One week in and things are slowly shifting.

Day 6: Rugged, but Not Broken
Woke up to a hard truth my Phantom wallet got completely drained. Nothing much but All coins… gone.
Most likely fell into a phishing trap during one of those airdrop hunts. Lesson learned the hard way.
But I’m not stopping.
Today, I’m diving deep into networking basics to advanced.
Tomorrow’s plan: Cloud storage. Actually feeling excited for it.
Money lost. Time invested. Mind focused.
Rugged, but not broken.

OSはAplhaが確かTur64UNIX、SPARCがSoraris、OpteronがRedHatLinuxだった気がします。(MIPS機は学校の情報処理センターがスーパーコンピュータを持っていたので無し)

違うんだよ、FreeBSDから急速に置き換わったんだよ
96から97年ぐらいはFreeBSDで自宅サーバの書籍が結構あったのがRedHatLinuxで自宅サーバに置き換わったんだよなー
この頃はちょうどOCNエコノミーが登場して常時接続ができるから自宅サーバが流行った黎明期

Linuxが流行ったのは、やっぱ、x86で動いて、Windowsじゃない、UNIXっぽいOSが欲しいという需要を満たしたところだと思うのだけど、なんでFreeBSDがその位置になれなかったのかはよく分かってない。PC98x1ユーザはFreeBSDしか選択肢なく？、そこそこ需要あったけど。

RHEL以前にRedHatLinuxがあったんですよ。
Redhat8は2002年9月に発売された製品てすね。
こちらはPCショップで普通に購入できました。
その後テスト用のFedoraと企業向けのRHEL2.1に分化してますね。
