Reading the Signals That Stay With You - my reflections
In a year dominated by AI narratives and macro shifts, I found myself reflecting on signals from very different systems.
As shared in my last post - It started personally with insights from my
@ouraring ŌURA ring. Sleep, recovery, consistency. Small signals that quietly tell a bigger story about discipline and sustainability.
Then I zoomed out.
I began looking at data from platforms like LinkedIn , YouTube and ChatGPT . Not as vanity metrics, but as patterns. What stood out was how these platforms, often stay with us beyond any role. They shape perspective and compound learning over time.
Algorithms do more than count views or clicks. They surface relationships and intellectual gravity. One example was LinkedIn’s Year in Review highlighting how closely I followed
@pfersht . That felt less like a statistic and more like a reflection. Outside-in thinking like this sharpens how many of us approach AI, services, and enterprise change.
#ServiceasSoftware
This year also marked a meaningful transition. I embraced a new paradigm at work and stepped into an exciting opportunity with
@Altimetrik @tpg @SlkSoftware . 6 months in, every day has been energizing. I am grateful to work alongside a visionary leader like Raj Sundaresan our CEO & an exceptional executive team Sreenivas V. Gautam Samanta Rajeev Jain Ranga Kanapathy Ajay Kumar Farid Roshan Adam Caplan Dhirendra Nath Farooqui Mohammed Yousufuddin Ramji P Vasudevan Lakshmi Duvoor Sandy Patel, SHRM-CP, PHR Vikas Krishan Amit K. Singh
& also recalling the time spent with Chirajeet Sengupta
@jimitarora over last 6 months - thx to team
@EverestGroup Everest Group for presenting at our GTM Summit & for actionable insights!
Other signals surfaced along the way. I was among the first 0.1 percent of users on the GPT platform. Starting early mattered, but more telling was the usage itself. Strategic exchanges focused on synthesis, tradeoffs, and judgment. Less about answers, more about clarity.
I also completed the AI Sales Practitioner program with
@OpenAI to better understand how AI is reshaping buyer behavior and revenue conversations.
One of the highlights of the year was a cameo on
@DisrupTVShow TV, sharing the screen with
@ValaAfshar Afshar and
@rwang0 R "Ray" Wang Wang, alongside authors whose work has shaped my thinking - link in comments

I also crossed roughly 30K followers across platforms LinkedIn X and Instagram . What matters most is the quality of dialogue.
Looking ahead, I am excited to continue these conversations in person. Catching up with Phil and Saurabh Gupta

@wef World Economic Forum The
@WSJ Wall Street Journal Davos House event alongside Raj & continuing the dialogue on what AI First truly looks like when strategy meets execution.
The data leaves a footprint.
The algorithms reveal the connections.
What matters is how thoughtfully we build on what they show us.
