Alongside Premier Chris Minns, Ryan Park MP, Minister for Health and Western Sydney Labor colleagues, I'm thrilled to help unveil the latest designs for our $630 million Fairfield Hospital Redevelopment. The Minns Labor Government has committed $550 million to deliver the redevelopment, with a further $80 million contribution from the Commonwealth Government to expand the hospital’s Emergency Department. After more than a decade of underfunding and neglect from the Coalition, the Minns Government is delivering the critical health infrastructure growing communities in Western and Southwest Sydney need. We’ve listened carefully to feedback from staff and community and responded with a design that not only meets today’s healthcare demands but will also serve our Western Sydney community well into the future. The new clinical services building is expected to include: - A new and expanded Emergency Department, - Intensive Care Unit, - Medical Imaging, - Operating theatres, and - Inpatient units. To learn more about the project visit: nsw.gov.au/fairfield-hospita… @NSWLabor @ChrisMinnsMP @RyanPark_Keira @NSWHealth @SWSLHD @nswparliament

Welcome to our newest 14 Paramedics to Western Sydney and South Western Sydney! NSW Ambulance has inducted 127 new paramedic interns and 28 trainee emergency medical call takers into the service, meaning there are more than 500 new paramedics and more than 80 emergency medical call takers who have joined the service since the beginning of the year. The new recruits further boost frontline health services across the state, including paramedic intern Rowena Meredith, a former Tokyo Olympics 2021 bronze medallist, and trainee emergency medical call taker Taylah Ferguson, the daughter of a former paramedic who joins us from London Ambulance Service. The paramedic interns will be posted across NSW to complete the on-road portion of their 12-month internships, before taking permanent positions in metropolitan and regional areas. To all our new NSW Ambulance Paramedics, welcome to Prospect Electorate and thank you! @NSWLabor @ChrisMinnsMP @RyanPark_Keira @NSWHealth @NSWAmbulance @SWSLHD @nswparliament

Awesome news, the Minns Labor Government has expanded a new free virtual healthcare service to all Sydney residents! Residents from Western Sydney, South Western Sydney and other local health districts will be able to access free and safe virtual care for non-life threatening conditions, right from the comfort of their own home. Prospect Electorate families can access this service by phoning Healthdirect on 1800 022 222. Patients will first speak to a registered nurse who will assess your condition and where clinically appropriate, refer you to the virtual care service with a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, doctors and nurses. This virtual care service uses video conferencing technology to provide care for urgent but non-life threatening illnesses or injuries, including: • Coughs, colds, fevers and flu; • Respiratory symptoms; • Vomiting and diarrhoea; or • Minor infections and rashes. The service will be available between 8am and 10pm seven days a week for people aged 16 years and older. This will save an estimated 85,000 people from an unnecessary wait in an emergency department each year. @ChrisMinnsMP @RyanPark_Keira @NSWHealth @WestSydHealth @SWSLHD @blacktowncity @parracity @CumberlandSyd @nswparliament

The antisemitic video circulating today is disgusting. The comments are vile. The footage is sickening and shameful. These antisemitic comments, driven by hate, have no place in our health system and no place anywhere in Australia. These individuals have been stood down by NSW Authorities. They have rightly been referred to the NSW Police for criminal investigation. Individuals found to have committed criminal antisemitic acts will face the full force of our laws.

⛔️ Whistleblower Exposes Muslim Supremacy at Bankstown Hospital She spent 23 years working at Bankstown Hospital, but none of that mattered the moment she spoke up. She saw the culture of intimidation, the blatant anti-Jewish hatred, and the way Muslim staff shielded each other from consequences. She knew how dangerous it was to say anything. But when she and her four-month-old grandson became victims, she couldn’t stay silent. ⚠️ The Emergency Room That Let a Baby Suffer Her grandson was struggling to breathe. She rushed him to Bankstown’s Emergency Department, desperate for help. But the Muslim triage nurse at the front desk ignored them. She begged for attention. The nurse didn’t even look up. When she wouldn’t back down, the mask slipped. “Sit down, white trash.” “You ugly b**.”** A baby was gasping for air, and this is what she got. ⚠️ The Assault That Management Covered Up Months later, inside her own workplace, a Muslim woman physically attacked her. It was caught on CCTV. Witnesses saw everything. The police got involved. But nothing happened. Instead of protecting her, the hospital covered for the attacker. They apologized to the Muslim woman on her behalf—without her consent. Then they punished the victim. She was removed from public-facing work. They silenced her instead of holding the attacker accountable. “I Was Supposed to Just Move Along” She refused to be intimidated. She fought back. She sued. And then the final blow came. The Police Gave Her a Warning—Stay Quiet, or Else When she pushed for charges, the police told her not to. Why? 💥 Because the woman who assaulted her had CRIMINAL ties! They knew where she worked. Even the police admitted they couldn’t protect her. So she had to leave. Leave Sydney. Leave her home. Leave behind 23 years of work. And nothing changed. Gaslighting on an Industrial Scale If you complain, you’re the problem. If you fight back, you’re punished. If you demand justice, you’re silenced. And if you dare to call it out? Islamophobia. 🚨 THIS IS BANKSTOWN HOSPITAL’S CULTURE. A hospital where Muslims protect Muslims. A hospital where non-Muslims live in fear. A hospital where speaking out can cost you everything. And NSW Health has done nothing. 📞 Who to Contact to Demand an Investigation •NSW Health Complaints Line – 1800 043 159 •Health Care Complaints Commission (HCCC NSW) – hccc.nsw.gov.au •NSW Health (Main Website) – health.nsw.gov.au •Bankstown Hospital (General Contact) – •Phone: 61 2 9722 8000 •Email: swslhd-bankstownhospital@health.nsw.gov.au •Website: swslhd.health.nsw.gov.au/Ban… NSW Health Must Investigate NOW @NSWHealth @newsouthwaleshealth @swslhd
