On 28th February 2024, the Civil Society Legislative Advocacy Centre (CISLAC) with support from @OpenSocietyAfr , convenes a Community Security Architecture Dialogue on Early Warning and Early Response, in Keffi, Nasarawa State. Recognizing Local Governments as crucial pillars for community support, the dialogue addresses the challenges in their role amidst the current security climate, and officials to analyze early warning information and coordinate robust response strategies, with a focus on strengthening local institutions, the dialogue brings together Community Observers, Response Networks, security actors, and local officials for in-depth analysis and coordinated response planning. This initiative extends the impact of previously trained Community Observers, reaching Local Government authority to fortify grassroots security in Keffi, Nasarawa.
