Im saying volume of content for a single game. Indie studios werent making 150hr open world games with 4hrs of cinematics.

This is gonna sound harsh but all these layoffs need to happen not just at Xbox but at all other AAA game studios
The budgets are too big, too many meaningless jobs, too much reliance on streaming services, games take too long to make, and an overall abandonment of what made gaming great in the first place which is just making fun games for players and not their peers
Things are always worse before they get better so I for welcome the reset that’s happening

People default to "gamepass failex" when they have been saying the opposite. Studios not producing is the cause of the current debacle. Gamepass at its current pace was going to fail eventually but right now they were using it to pad the stats on the underperforming studios

I think we're facing an "IronAge scenario." We need to be prepared to rebuild from scratch. Studios that reform can save themselves; the others will fail and be restructured in bankruptcy. I lean toward the "Hard Reset" sentiment, but ultimately the market will just do its job.
