Our next session of the Timeless Tafsir series will take place this Saturday, 28th March, with Dr Sohaib Saeed @tafsirdoctor , exploring the tafsir of al-Razi and Ibn Ashur. The first session with Shaykh Akram Nadwi on al-Zamakhshari and al-Alusi has already taken place. However, those who register now will receive full access to the recording. Timeless Tafsir is a four-day seminar series designed primarily for students of the Qur’an Study Programme, while also open to external participants. The series offers a gateway into the rich tradition of Qur’anic interpretation, guiding participants through six of the most influential tafsirs in Islamic history. From the classical authorities of al-Tabari, al-Zamakhshari, and al-Razi, to the later voices of Ibn Ashur, al-Alusi, and Islahi, each seminar provides both depth and context. The series concludes with a final session on the Qur’an as a living source, including a guided overview of key commentators and an exclusive preview of Shaykh Akram’s forthcoming tafsir work. @Assimalhakeem has never claimed to be a Scholar. He has actually stated that he is not a Scholar. His a Student of Knowledge as all Muslims should be. He may not be a Scholar but الحمد لله he has a lot of knowledge from studying. May الله عز و جل protect him. Correct for Ilm go to actual Scholars if you have access to them. If not, listen to people like Shaykh Assim Al Hakeem and then re-verify what they say with the books referenced… Islam is the most preserved Religion out there. Muslim spit facts with references. Someone who doesn’t have a reference is a fraud making up his own Religion. Most Ilm you’ll actually have to go to where the scholar lives, his area where he would teach. They don’t do Zoom Seminars lol (that I know of anyway). 99% of what @Assimalhakeem says has been correct. I only say 1% wrong as humans make mistakes. And let’s not forget he takes his information from Scholars as a Student of Knowledge. Many from Islamqa.info May الله عز و جل reward @Assimalhakeem IslamQA for all their hard efforts. Please note both of these mentioned can make mistakes. Do your own research, read books, and verify references if you’re in doubt. Even if you’re not in doubt, read as then you’ve visually verified oh it’s in Al Bukhari Hadith number X and it says this etc… May الله عز و جل guide us all to the straight path and may الله عز و جل forgive us for our shortcomings. #StudyIslam
