Our tiny nation has given the world so much — from the Industrial Revolution to world-leading innovation. But as with most things, growth can shift focus. What once started small, local, and proud can grow into something far removed from its roots. Farming is no exception. To be profitable today, you often have to be vast. That doesn’t mean the big farms aren’t doing great work — many are achieving exceptional standards. But monopolies rarely make for healthy industries. Our land is small — yet our small farms hold huge value for the UK. At the end of the day, people want the best they can afford for their families — the best quality produce. And without doubt, those standards are found right here, on UK farms. 🇬🇧 You can be small and mighty — we always have been. And for the sake of all our futures, we must continue to be. To do that, we need a government that values us — and policies that support us. Policies that help us in our mission to feed our own people. What we can’t survive are policies that will simply wipe us out. Abolish IHT for all — and let’s get investing in our farms, our businesses, and our futures! 🌾 These boys are the fifth generation to drive this tractor — bought new by their great-grandfather. 🥰 #Farming #BuyBritish #SupportSmallFarms #UKFarming #FoodSecurity #BackBritishFarming 📸 Photo credit: Kurt Morton

We have forgotten what real food tastes like. Supermarket-perfect looks tidy on a shelf, but it is often bland and disconnected from the land. If you want better food and healthier communities, buy from your local farm or market. Taste the difference and support the people who grow it. #FarmsNotFactories #BuyLocal #SeasonalFood #KnowYourFarmer #SupportSmallFarms

GWF Council Member and small farmer Steve Jarvis @outofthewild3d sat down with HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. @seckennedy to discuss how we can restore agriculture and protect our planet. From his Farm Bill proposal to create 1 million small farms to proving organic farming can thrive without pesticides or herbicides, Steve shows that clean food and healthy soil go hand in hand. They also addressed threats like geoengineering, weather modification, and environmental toxins—and why protecting small farmers is protecting our nation’s health. This is how we heal the land—and ourselves. 🌎 Video Repost: @seckennedy #RegenerativeFarming #FarmBill #RFKJr #SteveJarvis #GlobalWellnessForum #OrganicFarming #ProtectThePlanet #SupportSmallFarms

Healthy farms. Healthy families. Healthy future. Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy Jr. @SecKennedy met with small farmer and Global Wellness Forum council member Steve Jarvis @OutoftheWild3D for a powerful conversation on restoring agriculture and protecting our planet. They discussed Steve's Farm Bill proposal to create 1 million small farms. Steve shared firsthand how organic farming can thrive without pesticides or herbicides, proving it’s possible to grow clean food while regenerating the soil. They emphasized the critical role of small farmers in a healthy nation—and why our food system must prioritize people over profit. Finally, they addressed the urgent need to protect farmland from geoengineering, weather modification, and environmental toxins that threaten both human health and ecological balance. This is how we heal the land—and ourselves. #RegenerativeFarming #FarmBill #RFKJr #SteveJarvis #Geoengineering #OrganicFarming #GlobalWellnessForum #ProtectThePlanet #SupportSmallFarms @itsmarlamaples @sayerjigmi @dr_edwardgroup

Oregon, time to show up for your producers! A dangerous statewide policy from Oregon's Department of Land Conservation & Development (DLCD) is moving forward-and if passed in late 2025, it could wipe out thousands of small family farms. This affects everyone because Oregon's farms feed communities across the U.S. What's at stake: X U-pick farms X Apple stands & roadside produce X School field trips, goat visits, hayrides X Farm dinners, harvest festivals, and local food events In July 2025, the owners of Topaz Farm (Sauvie Island) sounded the alarm: if this proposal passes, the very activities that help keep farms afloat will be regulated out of existence. I What's really at risk: ~4,000 Oregon farms involved in agritourism $985 million/year in food and event income Over 11,000 jobs National food distribution and community nourishment Meanwhile, large wineries are exempt. They can continue hosting events and selling food-while family farms are burdened with permits, caps, and restrictions. This affects everyone, not just Oregon. Oregon's harvest stocks farmers markets, grocery stores, and restaurants across the country. When small farms go down, your food access goes with them. ¿ WHAT YOU CAN DO: 1. Email before Friday, July 25 → farmforest.comment@dlcd.oregon.gov Share this post everywhere Support @topazfarm and other small farms Use hashtags: #SaveAgritourism #SupportSmallFarms #OregonFeedsUsAll #LocalFoodMatters #TopazFarm #DLCD2025 #reels #fyp #support #help

⚠️🚨📢Hello everyone in the state of Florida who eat and produce chickens‼️ Please take heed and take action. Help preserve small poultry producers and farmers whether you buy chicken from the store or have already patrionized a local farm. We need your help to stop this preposterous, outrageous, ridiculous proposal of selling you a "finished" chicken completely unfinished. Under this proposed standard we would be required to sell you a chicken with everything intac, head, inards, and intestines intact for you to remove them yourself! I can promise you this proposal does not meat sanitation nor health standards for anyone. After the bird is dispatched, evsiceration needs to start immediately to avoid harmful bacteria growth. Under this new rule, the risk of salmonella would certainly increase, not mention the unnecessary food waste passed on to you, the consumer. this practice. Please share this post and email 📧 Brenda.Noble@FDACS.gov with your concerns by July 3,2025 Link to Proposed Rule will be in the comments of this post Let’s make our voices heard. This matters. #SupportSmallFarms #FloridaAg #PoultryProducers #FarmPolicy #FoodFreedom #FreeFlorida

🚨 ATTENTION FLORIDIANS 🚨 Do you enjoy chicken from small farms? If yes, READ BELOW! Florida is proposing a major change to how “dressed poultry” is defined for limited poultry producers. Under Notice 29655730, FDACS would now require poultry to be sold with the head, feet, and viscera (organs) intact—a dramatic shift from the previous understanding that allowed eviscerated whole birds with the head and feet removed. As a consumer, is this something you want? If yes, great! If NO, TAKE ACTION TO BE HEARD. 🗓️ Comments are due to FDACS by July 3 📧 Email Brenda.Noble@FDACS.gov with your concerns 👇 Here's a sample message you can send: Subject: Comment on Proposed Rule – Notice 29655730 Dear Ms. Noble, I am writing to express concern about the proposed definition change for “dressed poultry” under Notice 29655730. Requiring limited poultry producers to leave the head, feet, and viscera intact dramatically deviates from the previously accepted standard of eviscerated whole birds with the head and feet removed. This change would harm small farms like mine that have built a customer base around convenient, clean, ready-to-cook poultry. Most consumers are not equipped or willing to process birds themselves, and this requirement will likely discourage purchases, reduce sales, and damage trust in local meat producers. It also contributes to food waste. When we as producers process birds on-farm, we can repurpose nearly every part—feet can be dehydrated for dog treats, organs can be safely composted, and waste can be managed responsibly. If consumers receive a bird with head, feet, and internal organs included, those parts often end up in the landfill, especially when there’s only one bird to process at home. This undermines both sustainability and food system efficiency. We urge FDACS to reconsider this change and retain the previous standard that allows for properly slaughtered, defeathered, and eviscerated birds with head and feet removed. This approach has worked for years and supports both food safety and local food access without placing unnecessary burdens on small farms and consumers. Thank you for the opportunity to provide input. Sincerely, [Your Name] [Farm Name] [City, FL] 📎 Link to Proposed Rule: flrules.org/Gateway/View_not… Let’s make our voices heard. 🌱 Why Support Small Batch Farms? 🌾 Choosing small businesses over big-name stores means investing in quality, community, and sustainability! Here’s why: 1️⃣ Superior Quality: Small batch farms prioritize care over mass production. Their products—whether fresh produce, artisanal cheeses, or handcrafted goods—are often fresher, tastier, and made with love. No cutting corners like some big brands! 2️⃣ Unique Products: Small farms offer specialty items you won’t find on corporate shelves—think heirloom veggies or rare-batch honey. You get one-of-a-kind flavors, not mass-produced sameness. 3️⃣ Support Local Economies: Every dollar spent at a small farm stays in your community, helping families thrive and keeping local traditions alive. 4️⃣ Eco-Friendly Practices: Small farms often use sustainable methods, reducing environmental impact compared to industrial operations that prioritize profit over planet. 5️⃣ Personal Connection: Know your farmer, know your food! Small businesses offer transparency and a chance to connect with the people behind your purchases. Next time you shop, skip the big-box store and visit a local farm or market. Your taste buds, community, and planet will thank you! 🥕💚 #SupportSmallFarms #ShopLocal #KnowYourFarmer

THERE IS NOTHING “SAFE & EFFECTIVE” ABOUT GLYPHOSATE… ⚠️ A chemical banned in over 30 countries is still sprayed all over your food in the U.S. & U.K. Meanwhile, they tell you it’s safe. Safe… even though it’s linked to: ❌ Cancer ❌ Gut microbiome damage ❌ Hormone disruption ❌ Nutrient depletion Glyphosate is everywhere. Cereal. Granola bars. Baby formula. Even organic produce isn’t safe. → 2023 study: 99% of pregnant women tested had glyphosate in their urine doi.org/10.1016/j.envres.202… Still think the organic section protects you? → EWG found over 70% of organic produce still had pesticide residue ewg.org/foodnews/summary.php These toxic chemicals don’t just rinse off… They’re in the soil, the air, the water, and your bloodstream. This is why it’s so important to: ✅ Know your farmer ✅ Support local and regenerative farms ✅ Read beyond the “organic” label Yes, it may cost a little more up front… But your health is worth it. Pay the farmer now—or pay Big Pharma later. Your gut, your hormones, your life are not disposable. It’s time to wake up. Say NO to corporate poison. Say YES to real, clean, chemical-free food. #GlyphosateKills #ToxicFoodSystem #RegenerativeFarming #KnowYourFarmer #EWGReport #RoundupTruth #SeedOilFree #GutHealthMatters #ChemicalFreeLiving #SustainableLiving #HolisticHealthLifestyle #SupportSmallFarms #FarmToTableMovement #EcoConsciousLiving
