I've deleted a tweet which used the word "cower". I was expressing gratitude that the vaccines help us fight back as a society, but it was a poor choice of word and I sincerely apologise.
Like many, I have lost loved ones to this awful virus and would never minimise its impact.

Another 'fun' aspect of our sick pay system: getting pinged doesn't legally require you to self-isolate. But if you apply for the ยฃ500 self-isolation support payment due to being pinged, you are legally required. However, most (65-70%) applicants to the scheme get rejected.

โฆsome form of Covid certification (i.e. 2 doses of vaccine or negative test) for nightclubs and indoor events โ particularly given the Dutch experience in recent days. There are also holes in the current approach that arenโt too late to close e.g. on #SupportToIsolate.

I knew #TestAndTrace #SupportToIsolate was going to be a scam. I tick all the boxes but itโs not being processed. No reason. Iโm double jabbed, tested negative every day on lateral flow & a PCR, got pinged & have had to cancel first 2 big funeral jobs in over a year๐คฌ#OutOfPocket

@lambeth_council You need a code to prove Iโve been contacted to self isolate but they donโt actually give codes they just tell you to isolate & when isolation ends. How do I apply for #SupportToIsolate without the code & how am I meant to get a code?@BellRibeiroAddy @DHSCgovuk
