The workshop was graced by the esteemed presence of Smt. Binita Thakur, IPS, ADG/APS; Shri Senthil Avoodai Krishna Raj S, IPS, IG/APS-I; Ms. Kim, IPS, DIG/AP (E & NE); Shri Ajay Kumar, DIG/CASO, Kolkata Airport; and Shri Dhiraj Kumar Shukla, DIG/AP (NZ), along with other senior officers and CASOs of airports in the East & North East Zone. A specialised session on Drone Threats and Countermeasures was delivered via video conference by Shri Jose Mohan, IPS, IG/APS-II. The Director General, CISF, also held an interactive review with all CASOs, comprehensively assessing security preparedness and deliberating on key operational and strategic issues. Prior to the workshop, an exclusive IAF-led session on Drone Threat Perception and Security Aspects was conducted for the CASOs of the Zone.
