𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝘃𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘁 & 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗮 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻
In pursuit of strengthening and modernising the aviation security architecture across the East and North East India, a Zonal Workshop was convened at Guwahati Airport under the chairmanship of Shri Praveer Ranjan, IPS, Director General, CISF. The workshop was graced by the esteemed presence of Smt. Binita Thakur, IPS, ADG/APS; Shri Senthil Avoodai Krishna Raj S, IPS, IG/APS-I; Ms. Kim, IPS, DIG/AP (E & NE); Shri Ajay Kumar, DIG/CASO, Kolkata Airport; and Shri Dhiraj Kumar Shukla, DIG/AP (NZ), along with other senior officers and CASOs of airports in the East & North East Zone.
A specialised session on Drone Threats and Countermeasures was delivered via video conference by Shri Jose Mohan, IPS, IG/APS-II. The Director General, CISF, also held an interactive review with all CASOs, comprehensively assessing security preparedness and deliberating on key operational and strategic issues.
Prior to the workshop, an exclusive IAF-led session on Drone Threat Perception and Security Aspects was conducted for the CASOs of the Zone. Additionally, a separate video conference session on Artificial Intelligence in Aviation Security was organised by the Adani Group.
