The Pune Air Action Hub (PAAH) has requested vital updates to the city's Environment Status Report (ESR) from the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC). PAAH highlighted several gaps, including the exclusion of data from the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) and Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB) air quality monitors. They also called for the inclusion of detailed information on tree cutting, transplantation, and compensatory plantations, as well as accurate data on vehicle registrations. Additionally, PAAH seeks more comprehensive reporting on various environmental factors such as the graded response action plan (GRAP), crematorium emissions, and electric mobility.
