Workers around the world aren’t just saving time with AI, they’re actively reinvesting it back into their jobs. Indeed’s Hiring Lab found more than eight in 10 employed AI users across eight countries saved at least an hour per day, often using that time to take on additional tasks and improve the quality and efficiency of their work. Some U.S. workers even used the time savings to improve work-life balance and reduce stress. The study also highlighted employer encouragement and training played a major role in whether workers adopted AI. Additional findings showed this could influence productivity and how existing roles evolve over time.
