Compassion, mindfulness, and the #BasicAssumption. Zoom, Webex, and Microsoft teams apps on all my devices. Extra (washable) eye protection on our simulation cart. Hydrate and eat a solid meal before teaching a 3-hour sim session, b/c I don’t take my mask off during that time.

Agreed. To me, it’s about reframing workplace conversations as learning conversations, &eroding artificial barriers between “feedback” &the work itself. The #BasicAssumption can help make feedback more lateral in a famously hierarchical industry. @LearnThruTalk @grade1view

It’s not the clinical stuff you need to worry about...it’s the people-managing 😬 have coffee, but not too much, make sure you take time to eat & pee...& remember you can hand off the phone in order to do both (preferably not at the same time!!!) Finally: #basicassumption 🤜🏾
