Now my new app is built, I've been bugtracking and solving issues for the whole afternoon. I think I'll need one more day fixing issues, and I am ready for test.

Last Tuesday, I confidently pushed what I thought was a "minor update" to production.
Wednesday morning: three frantic emails, two confused users, and one very broken checkout button that apparently decided to take an early retirement.
Here's the thing about being a solo developer โ you're not just the coder, you're also the QA team, the user experience researcher, AND the person who has to explain to clients why their "simple fix" created a digital house of cards.
My bug tracking system? A colorful array of sticky notes that would make a rainbow jealous, combined with a notebook that looks like it survived a small explosion. Sometimes I catch myself having full conversations with my rubber duck about whether that function should return null or undefined.
The real plot twist? Half the time, the "bug" is actually a feature working exactly as I coded it... which means I'm essentially hunting myself.
But here's what I've learned: those moments of panic when everything breaks actually make you a better developer. You learn every inch of your codebase, develop an almost supernatural ability to spot patterns, and gain an appreciation for proper documentation that borders on religious.
