ASSAM RIFLES STRENGTHENS COMMUNITY BONDS THROUGH HEALTH AND YOUTH DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVES IN MANIPUR #AssamRifles conducted a series of outreach initiatives across Kakching and Churachandpur districts on 13 June 2026, reaffirming its commitment to nation-building and community development. As part of its youth engagement efforts, Assam Rifles organised weapon displays and career mentorship sessions for defence aspirants and NCC cadets. Around 80 students from Guardian Defence Academy, Pallel, and 54 girl cadets of 65 NCC Girls Battalion, Churachandpur, received valuable insights into military life, entry schemes and career opportunities in the Armed Forces. The programmes aimed to inspire discipline, leadership, patriotism and a spirit of service among the younger generation. In addition, marking World Blood Donor Day, Assam Rifles organised a Voluntary Blood Donation Camp at Pallel Garrison, where approximately 190 security personnel and civilians voluntarily donated blood to support emergency healthcare requirements in the region. The event was supported by civil and military medical specialists, including Dr S. Hemabati Devi of Shija Hospital, who also recorded an awareness podcast on blood donation and health issues for broadcast through the Radio Highway App on 14 June 2026.
