ComponentModel interfaces and the UI having to bind to PropertyChanged events weakly* and this mountain of stuff to work around the state sync problem... it really does make me appreciate the whole class of problems immediate mode eliminates loll

Rib — originally developed inside @GolemCloud — is now a standalone project! We’ve simplified the language, added a full language guide, and significantly improved the docs. The goal is to make interacting with WebAssembly Components much easier — especially through a statically typed interactive REPL I recently prototyped integrating rib-repl with the Wasmtime CLI and it worked really well. Being able to quickly test and explore components with full WIT type checking, smart tab completion, and stateful `let` bindings felt incredibly smooth. Really looking forward to see how this can help the wider WebAssembly ecosystem! Check out a sample server using wasi-http built with our early #WebAssembly Component Model support in @Kotlin! 🤩 github.com/Kotlin/sample-was… Still early, but very satisfying to see it working ✨ Give it a spin and share what you build 🚀 #Wasm #Kotlin #ComponentModel 👇

the fiat system is a bankrupt scheme propped up by violent keynesian goons,ComponentModel reality is being readied for singularity; whether it happens in 5, 50, or 500 years. i think it is time we take our money out of the filthy hands of the corrupt and put it into the pure and incorruptible algorithms of math, of blockchains that encapsulate truth and only the truth.

My talk about #wasm, the #componentmodel and the @vite_js ecosystem, is now published and available to all! (Link in comment!) Can you debug WebAssembly all the way to the precompiled sources? How do you compose micro-frontends with Wasm modules using Vite to import… and more!
