Proxy Vs reverse proxy
A forward proxy is a server that sits between user devices and the internet. A forward proxy is commonly used for:
- Protect clients
- Avoid browsing restrictions
- Block access to certain content
A reverse proxy is a server that accepts a request from the client, forwards the request to web servers, and returns the results to the client as if the proxy server had processed the request. A reverse proxy is good for:
- Protect servers
- Load balancing
- Cache static contents
- Encrypt and decrypt SSL communications

If you want to be a little harder to detect, try our forwardproxy plugin: github.com/caddyserver/forwa… (it does require client support, but most web browsers have it via an extension). It tunnels traffic over ordinary-looking HTTPS HTTP/2.

負荷分散装置と言いながら7層の全エリアにまたがる幅広い知識が必要で、IPSやらFWやらDNSの拡張機能もあって、なんならVPNやForwardProxyもできちゃうし、iRuleやiappにiControlでプログラムの知識も求められて、WAFとか認証とかバイパスさせて動かすようなのも全部面倒見ないといけないのがほんと糞。

主の技術力の高さが伺える内容で大変参考になりました。
ForwardProxyについては linkedin.com/pulse/explicit-… を参考にしたらすんなりいけました。
また、iRuleなどでHostをぶっこ抜くとHTTP1.0を使っている通信ではHostはオプションであり、必須項目ではないので処理落ちするので注意が必要。

Caddy 已经升级到 V2，不再提供 V1 版本的 Docker Image，自制 Caddy v1.0.5 Docker Image：
在 go 1.14.9 环境下编译了 Caddy v1.0.5 并集成插件 forwardproxy；
构建 Linux 的 7 种系统架构镜像，分别是：
amd64, arm32v6, arm32v7, arm64v8, i386, ppc64le, s390x。

Caddy 已经升级到了 v2，官方目前已经不提供 v1 的下载链接，这直接导致使用 getcaddy.com 脚本时会出现下载失败的错误。
因此我编译了 Caddy v1.0.5 插件 forwardproxy 的二进制版本，有需者自取。
