Feels like a good op to discuss the “Irish Goodbye”.
This refers to leaving a party without saying goodbye to the host.
This is often referred to as rude but I don’t think the real intent is understood. Not this is only for larger gatherings, not 8 people dinners.
When you ENTER a party, THAT is you time to thank the host. Leaving without notice:
1. Reduces the interruptions to the host. By this time they are really able to enjoy the party.
2. It stops the domino effect. You say goodbye, and others think it’s time to go. You start a flood of exits.
You can always call or text the next day but the Irish Goodbye is the way to go.

అర్హులైన విద్యార్థులకు ప్రభుత్వం బెస్ట్ అవైలబుల్ పాఠశాలల్లో చదువుకునే అవకాశం కల్పిస్తుందని, ఎంపికైన విద్యార్థులు సద్వినియోగం చేసుకోవాలని జిల్లా కలెక్టర్ రిజ్వాన్ బాషా షేక్ గారు అన్నారు.
జిల్లా షెడ్యూల్డ్ కులాల అభివృద్ధి శాఖ ఆధ్వర్యంలో శుక్రవారం IDOC సమావేశపు మందిరంలో 2026-27 విద్యా సంవత్సరానికి గాను బెస్ట్ అవైలబుల్ పాఠశాలల్లో చదువుకునేందుకు దరఖాస్తు చేసుకున్న విద్యార్థులను లక్కీ డిప్ విధానంలో కలెక్టర్ ఎంపిక చేశారు.
నాన్ రెసిడెన్షియల్ ఒకటవ తరగతిలో ప్రవేశాలకు మొత్తం 57 సీట్లు ఉండగా, మొత్తం 265 మంది దరఖాస్తు చేసుకోగా గ్రూప్ 1, 2, 3లకు సంబంధించి మహిళా రిజర్వేషన్స్, జనరల్ కోటాలో నిబంధనల ప్రకారం డిప్ ద్వారా విద్యార్థులను ఎంపిక చేశారు.
రెసిడెన్షియల్ ఐదవ తరగతిలో ప్రవేశాలకు మొత్తం 59 సీట్లు ఉండగా గ్రూప్ 1, 2, 3లకు సంబంధించి మొత్తం 310 మంది దరఖాస్తు చేసుకోవడంతో అర్హులైన వారిలో నుంచి డిప్ విధానంలో విద్యార్థులను ఎంపిక చేశారు.
వివిధ గ్రూపులకు సంబంధించి వెయిటింగ్ లిస్టు ప్రాతిపదికన కొంతమంది విద్యార్థులను కూడా డిప్ విధానంలో ఎంపిక చేశారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా జిల్లా కలెక్టర్ ఎంపికైన విద్యార్థులకు, వారి తల్లిదండ్రులకు శుభాకాంక్షలు తెలిపారు.
ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో జిల్లా ఎస్సీ సంక్షేమ శాఖ అధికారి నుషిత, ఏఎస్సిడబ్ల్యూఓ నాగరాజు, సెక్టోరియల్ అధికారి కర్రెప్ప, బీచుపల్లి గురుకుల విద్యాలయ ప్రిన్సిపల్ రామాంజనేయులు, ఇతర అధికారులు, తదితరులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
