Post starting to blow up on r/learnmachinelearning which I think is just well crafted fiction for guerilla marketing Hitting the sweet spot where everyone is siding w the OP in knee jerk outrage, all 77 comments so far. No marketing accusations. It's clear, right?

You’re definitely right, I try to lookup other materials but this paper is a bit old. The r/learnmachinelearning guys are just upvoting my question without answering so I will probably try emailing the authors like you suggested

Reddit as a source of knowledge is dying. The r/MachineLearning community is already basically dead. Among the 3M members, maybe a couple of hundred still upvote and comment on something. r/learnmachinelearning has also become a spam dump. Web 2.0 has been dying for at least 3-5 years, but I guess LLMs have accelerated its end.
