Who is founder of @SeismicSys ? Let’s get to know @lyronctk better 1/Experience & Motivation Lyron is a computer scientist with experience deploying large-scale systems at Google X and Facebook AI. He left the AI space because he saw cryptography and blockchains as the ideal vertical for assembling a world-class engineering team 2/ A Pragmatic Approach to Web3 Lyron and his team followed a needfinding process, operating in the dark to uncover subtle but commercially important problems, like the fragmentation of encrypted state. He often jokes that Seismic is “more boring than almost any other chain,” because it focuses on real financial innovation - expanding access or cutting costs. 3/ Vision & Pace Lyron’s vision is clear: Seismic should become a bank with an app store on top made possible by a fully encrypted ledger that can serve as the primary deposit account. He draws inspiration from AI companies for velocity, believing that in today’s world, there’s no ceiling on how quickly a massive business can be built.

How will you end up on the other side of AI? x.com/mollycantillon/status/… The design program at Stanford leans heavily on teaching UX research in belief that the skill-based design tools we use today (Figma, Illustrator, etc.) will not be the tools we use tomorrow (Pika, Uizard). Human needs will evolve as technology evolves, and as designers we must rely on steadfast needfinding frameworks to build better solutions. Now more than ever, I am asking myself how I will end up on the other side of AI. Over the past months, I’ve helped founders design AI products that aim to streamline (really automate) BDR roles, RevOps roles, and recruiting jobs. These B2B SaaS solutions are emerging at the earliest levels and will slowly work their way into management roles. As our roles change, we must continue to take measured risk and push forward human-centered technological change. @heynox is a consumer AI personal assistant. @mollycantillon has championed the idea of infinite memory, and as the team has built the product we’ve relied on NOX’s proactivity to keep us one step ahead of ourselves, and of AI. Business AI solutions already speak to each other without a human in the loop. It’s not that we all—as designers in some form—need to progress our skillset faster than AI, but we need to be in better touch with our needs, the needs of our end users, and the needs of our friends and family to build a better world. If AI is only used to understand business needs then our hopes will fall by the wayside. Consumer AI can and will put us in better touch with who we are at 9am and how we want to feel at 9pm. NOX is the first project I’ve worked on that is balancing technological advancement with human advancement, and I’m proud of the work we’ve done so far to get here.

We want technology to make us better people. Teaching us to love more, Spending our time intentionally, Achieving the impossible. But right now, tech overshadows us, feeding us a stream of shallow distractions and hollow efficiencies, leaving us less connected, less present, and less engaged than ever. AI should help us chase our highest aspirations and empower us to become the best version of ourselves, it is meant to be personal. This revolution will be instigated by a small team with liberty for new thinking, a rebellious attitude towards change, and, a profound love. A love of technology's ability to unlock new frontiers of human potential. A love of craft in building products that surprise and delight. A love for the resilience of human beings in our rich and messy glory. We’re building this purely: for you, for us, and in the interest of who we want to become. This is the most exhilarating time to build personal AI. Elevating humanity. Join us on the start of our story. heynox.com/waitlist

I'm a pivoting founder who's doing needfinding interviews (asking people about their problems). I just started a newsletter this week to write about the problems they tell me. Would that be an interesting read?

I can't get GPT-4V and DALL·E 3 to access same conversation history, or use a PDF as with Claude2. Google slides integration is only with Duet AI. I need an open-source extension I can trust. Developers – if you're needfinding, fix this, and you'll have a paying customer in me

I'm in school again, and in a fun twist I need some folks to fill out a survey for a needfinding exercise. If you use a stovetop to boil/heat liquids (soup, noodles, whatever) then this is for you. It's very short! peersurvey.cc.gatech.edu/pla…

6/ Here's some examples: *Use customer-facing marketing on your website *Use strong sales copy in emails *Implement customer needfinding in your first seller call *Be intentional, specific, and consistent in building seller and broker rapport None of these are rocket science. 🚀

One of the most important things I learned in Needfinding is that people are good at telling you what they hate and meh at telling you what they’d like. If you can get people to articulate specific alternatives to the items they dislike, you’re in much better shape.

Very proud of this work. Great example of doing needfinding and qualitative science before building software solutions. A signature of @UCBEPIC

Hey TwitterVerse!Haven’t posted here in a long time.I am looking for resources (books, articles, videos, etc) that help Ss understand & uncover insights in their needfinding. Graduate Ss finding it hard 2 dig deeper, beyond the obvious & uncover deeper insights. Ideas? #dtk12chat

Our own @giada_baldes is giving a talk on needfinding and empathy work on September 21. Check it out 👇🏻
We know that #empathy is essential for #designthinking projects, but *how* do we observe and talk with #users to uncover their pains and needs? 🔎 On Sept 21 at 3:00PM BT, join our fellow @giada_baldes for an online talk organized by @PlanesStudio ✈️ meet.google.com/zem-aecj-muc…

Just finished qualitatively coding transcripts for our production ML interview study and organizing the 1700 codes into < 10 groups with @rogarcia_sanz. This is by far the most labor I've done for any project. Needfinding is not easy when done properly
