My first intro to Drb was a demo by @_why at FOSCON in 2005.
Fellow @pdxruby member @bleything and I wrote an IRC bot that used it to post subversion commit messages to a @pdxruby channel.
In a few hours @pdxruby is hosting a hackathon! IRL and virtual, we are hacking on @bridgetownrb and RailsDevs together.

My first @pdxruby as an organizer was a smashing success! Except for the bit where we forgot a selfie until most of the people had left. Do over next month at Microsoft, details to be announced.

2018's first monthly project night w @pdxruby was a blast! Two people opened their first open source pull requests, and a good time was had by all.
