A replacement for Roam, basically. Plunder native, self-hosted, scalable. And then you can keep actual data in it too, not just notes. Kind of a combination of Roam and Perkeep.

Sounds like you're using great ideas like event sourcing in a thoughtful way, but the terminology is poisoned with a different incompatible connotation. The approach described reminds me of Perkeep which also separates storage from indexing.

It’s a really interesting idea. Takes perkeep and adds something valuable beyond just control and ownership - a reason for app developers to want to do this beyond their users asking.

Yeah, I love Perkeep conceptually as a personal version of Dropbox - would love it if there was guidance on how to use it with SQLite files They're a bit tricky because it's not necessarily safe to just copy them while writes are happening, you need to take a proper backup
