It’s official. Today I qualified for the ballot in Florida’s 14th Congressional District.
But let’s be clear. I never stopped running.
I’ve been fighting for Tampa Bay since 2023. Long before the district lines changed. Long before certain candidates looked at a map and decided Tampa Bay was convenient enough to parachute into.
The people of Tampa Bay asked me to run. I heard that call then. I still hear it now. And my answer is the same as it’s always been: service before self and an unwavering commitment to the people of Tampa Bay.
I hear it from families getting crushed by rising costs. From seniors wondering if anyone in Washington actually gives a damn about their future. From veterans who are sick of politicians who never served anything but their own ambitions. From parents who want a stronger, safer country for their kids.
That’s why I ran then. That’s why I’m running now.
In 2024, I earned the Republican nomination with nearly 60% of the vote in a four-way primary. Then we took on Kathy Castor in a district that favored Democrats by eight points and secured more votes than any other Republican has in her 20-year career.
Now the district has changed. But my commitment, my strength, and my determination have reached an all-time high.
And together, we’re going to finish the job.
For more than 33 years, I served this nation in uniform. When America called, I answered. When Tampa Bay called, I answered. I never stopped.
