Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, Hans Paulsen, Vivo Energy EVP, East highlighted: “This facility is a major milestone for Vivo Energy, Eastern Uganda, and local communities. It reflects our commitment to safe, sustainable energy and is part of a US$550M continental investment to expand LPG and clean cooking across Africa. Over 10 million households have already benefited from this approach. The Mbale facility accelerates LPG adoption in Uganda, where less than 7% of households currently use it.
