Today, Ukraine marks the Day of the Unmanned Systems Forces for the first time, honouring the world’s first dedicated military branch focused on the comprehensive use of unmanned and robotic systems. Behind every successful operation stand thousands of drone operators, engineers, analysts, software developers, and technical specialists who work tirelessly every day to defend Ukraine and its people. Thanks to their professionalism and dedication, unmanned and robotic systems help effectively destroy the enemy and bring a just peace closer. The Unmanned Systems Forces were established on 11 June last year. They have become an integral part of Ukraine’s modern military history and an example that many countries are now looking to. We thank every member of the Unmanned Systems Forces – everyone who develops new technologies, trains crews, and stands on the frontline in defence of freedom.

This journey is more than a test of endurance—it's a step toward building robots that can operate wherever humans need them most.

Chinese company UBTECH Robotics has unveiled teasers of its U1 series humanoid robots, designed for the mass market The lineup includes two bionic humanoid models: one 183 cm tall and weighing 42 kg, and a smaller version at 168 cm and 35.2 kg. They feature 88 degrees of freedom, Wi-Fi support, and built-in AI for learning and interaction with the environment. Battery life is up to 4 hours. The full presentation is scheduled for June 30, but pre-orders are already open. According to the company, 1,943 units have been reserved.
