Remember Salwan Momika, the Iraqi-born Christian refugee who publicly burned Qurans in Sweden.
He was shot dead in his apartment near Stockholm.
He had long said he was ready to pay the ultimate price for criticising what he saw as a dangerous ideology. He faced constant death threats but refused to back down.
The main perpetrator, the Islamist Bashar Zakkour, a Syrian immigrant living in Sweden, is believed to have fled the country within hours of the shooting. His current whereabouts remain unknown.
No one was ever imprisoned for this crime.
